---Claudia Jones (February, 21,1915-Decemeber 24,1964), was a Trinidadian journalist and activist. Once she migrated to the United States, she became a black nationalist and a supporter of communism. As a result of her political affairs, she was deported and later reside in the United Kingdom where she founded British's first large black newspaper, The West Indian Gazette in 1958.---
